What We Believe
For a more detailed statement of faith, please contact Pastor Lang at (615) 681-0207.
God
We believe in the one, true, Triune, living God who exists in three Persons-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and self-subsistent. He created the world in six, twenty-four hour days.

Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; bears witness to the truth; is the agent of the new birth; and seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses to, sanctifies, and helps the believer.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is the gift of God received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Whose precious blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever.

Christ's Return
We believe in the personal, imminent, pre-tribulation, and pre-millennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones, commonly known as the Rapture and in His subsequent return to earth, with His saints, to establish His millennial kingdom (after the tribulation).

The Church
We believe that the New Testament church is a local assembly of baptized believers who have voluntarily joined themselves together to carry out the Great Commission.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Scriptures. It is inerrant, infallible, and preserved for every generation. We use the King James Version. The Bible is the full, final and sole authority for all faith and practice.
